My Story

I don’t recognize the girl on the left anymore, but I love her, respect her and am eternally grateful to her. She was doing the best she could with what she had, living under an extremely unhealthy set of rules that conventional “wisdom” had placed upon her. In spite of being exhausted, foggy, low-level depressed and feeling like a stranger in her own skin, she thugged it out up to the point where she could pass the baton to the girl on the right.

The girl on the right is alive. She’s no longer at war with herself. She meets life head-on and has been able to love, laugh, endure, explore and accomplish more than the girl on the left could have ever imagined or even managed. She’s at her fighting weight - physically, mentally, spiritually - and lives each day to its fullest.

Primal living allowed me to become the girl on the right. This is no longer a philosophy that I follow, it’s who I am. Open Range Health Coaching is my little love story to the world, my way of saying Thank You to the girl on the left, my way of sharing this beautiful gift.

Open Range Health

The Open Range name originates from my childhood growing up in rural Alberta. It instilled in me a love for nature and wide open spaces. I found it the most fitting name for my coaching practice as it’s also reflective of my coaching style. An open range - no fences, endless green grass & blue skies where you can feel alive and explore, shape and grow your limitless potential. The ultimate sense of freedom.
